Since moving up to North of Scotland, one thing has always infuriated me about getting goods shipped up here. A lot of suppliers always seemed to charge a lot more for shipping their goods to people up in this area. Discussing this with the locals, everybody agreed referring to this as the “Highland Tax”.
Eventually, one of my larger and heavier Ebay purchases forced me to investigate this matter further. I tried several companies and online searches until I came across Parcelsplease. As well as considerably undercutting the competition on this deal, the service I received from their staff was first class. I have used them several times now and they’ve always quoted reasonable prices and been “above and beyond” in terms of service. The couriers they use (Interlink in my case) have been punctual and the goods can be accurately tracked online.
I thoroughly recommend them for Ebay puchases and other consumer shipments such as this.

My first experience with Parcel Please has been excellent! Great service and wonderful value for money. Wednesday afternoon the parcel was picked up in Edinburgh and Friday it was delivered in Amsterdam, all for just £11.50 !

As a non-corporate sender, I needed something cheap, but reliable and easy. It was all of these things and it took only two days to get some 30 Kg items to Berlin! Excellent – to be recommended.
Just wanted to say an excellent service – parcel collected at 15:15 on 23/2/10 in Portsmouth and delivered to south of France and signed for at 09:08 on 25/2/10. Thank you very much – really efficient service – faster than an airmail letter!
